Thanks, Rick. Bedford had some nice architecture and lots of history.
George Washington based his campaign to suppress the whiskey rebellion
rebellion there. The Union Hotel now houses, among other things, a vape
shop. Maybe Washington vaped there?

Mark, the name of the town rang a bell. It’s 3-4 hours from Philly. My parents
lived outside Cleveland the first few years we were in Philly, and we made
quick stops in Bedford a couple of times.
My favorites are the Union Hotel (the modern car in front is a wonderful

Thanks so much, Ann. These genealogy trips are always fun - like an
extended treasure hunt where you follow clues to find more clues.

Thanks, Dan. Martin HIll Road was a treat and a lucky find. We were
looking for some small town on the map and noticed this small road
running through the forest. I guess paper maps and gazetteers still have
their place.

Very nice gallery indeed! Thanks for posting the link.
Many of us enjoy the "boondocks."
I especially like the framing and the clouds in "Martin Hill Road,
Buchanan State Forest." Another personal favorite is the patterns of the
