The D and DS have created a run on Pentax autofocus primes. Pentax got
caught flat-footed, with a lot of lenses out of production. So everyone
turned to the used market. It, too, is drying up.
We are now paying the price for the lackluster sales of F and FA primes
over the past 18 years.

Well they have no autofocus primes in stock, they do have about 20 used
manual focus lenses in stock including a few of the more desirable
items. Not long ago they had a A 15mm in stock which I was quite
desirous of but while the spirit was willing but the wallet was weak.

Given current ebay pricess, I wouldn't be surprised if one could make a profit
on some items. I always found KEH quite reasonable.

They haven't had any used primes in stock for quite some time. They're
apparently in high demand, probably due to all the digital slr users
who have moved up from P&S cameras.
