Most likely a IC or a connection problem. I am pretty sure it
is the IC in my L-308B which is, I believe, the same meter as
Bob's with flash metering added.

My 308 gave up the ghost a couple of years back it was about 10 years old. I
queried Sekonic about repairs but they never replied. I do miss the use of the
little bugger.
