Mine was almost free as well.
Got it with an SFX (later sold to a fellow PDMLer), a 240FT, a SMC-F
35-70 and the SMC-F 70-210. All this is a cute plastic case with cut
foam inside.
Got the whole thing for 100 euros, the guy dwanted to go digital and
did not know he could use those lens on Pentax

It's an extremely sharp lens, and very well built. However it was a not
particularly fast consumer zoom when it was released and quite popular.
In other words it's not rare nor was it originally costly.
