Do you have any idea how similar the 67 200mm/4 is to the 645 200/4?
I use the latter frequently and it's my favorite 645 lens.

Hi, Dan,
The simultaneous shutter release is probably right. But I think its so that
the huge vibrations caused by all those massive mirrors going up and down
will cause the earth to go off its rotational axis, or out of its orbit or
something.

wouldn't work - the lens releases its shutter when the 67 lens stopdown hits it...
However, it could work on 645 (as the 67-645 adapter retains
auto-aperture no?)
so if you have the 90 or 165 LS you can use it as LS on 645 (maybe).
But also the timing could be off due to the adapter... somebody
It would be nice if there were some way to fire the leaf shutter without
using the aperture stop-down thingy near the rear lens mount. I tried the
screw-in cable release, but that doesn't seem to work.

I have a 75mm LS for my Pentax 645. If there were such an adapter for that
lens as with the 6 X 7 I wonder how I would trip the LS in the lens and the
focal plane shutter in my LX so that they both would synch? There's
something flawed in your logic, I think.
