Jeff,

It seems like the 90 leaf shutter might be able to do this.  It has a
switch setting to have you fire the shutter from the lens.  However,
there is still the problem of getting the leaf shutter to close before
the camera shutter opens.  The aperture coupling is used to do this.
So, as I think about it, it would still not work.  Nice thought
though.
