second version of the SMCT optically, but I
doubt it is as good mechanically, but close.
Both the 2nd SMCT and the SMCP are very high
performance but fall short of an IF

Hi Paul,
While I probably wouldn't use either of these close-up lenses for
portraits, I can see the appeal of having one
for best results.
