Thanks, Paul! I like 6 as well but for nostalgic reasons. I don’t know if you
remember when I shot the construction site at work for a couple of years. That
project was such an important moment in developing my skills—and, more

A nice set. My favorites are two and six where you were able to use the
geometry of your subjects to create pleasing compositions.

Big thanks, Ann! I think the fountain is called Millennium Monument. Let me
double check that. I think it might be new—if not, maybe they renamed it with
the building of Millennium Park.

Boy all your points are spot on—and energizing!
—especially, your point about holding off a bit . . . at a distance . . . et

Thanks, Dave! Interestingly, the composition of 7 isn’t the composition that I
thought I wanted. After about 7 different compositions, this was the one that
I settled on—the earlier ones just didn’t work out.

Ha - I chose that one and the bus as my two favorites - never even
noticing the camera !
Christine - the structure with the fountain-- I grew up with it and have
forgotten what it is called - is it a monument to Grant?

I don't think you have anything to worry about, Christine. They all look pretty

A nice set from a casual walk. Looking at them as a group, the sense of you
feeling out your eye comes through: you're holding what you see off a bit, at a
slight distance, a little tentative and
Not as aimless as you might think. Some very appealing shots there. I would
