Very nice Dan. I do find water lilies hard to photograph and usually in
the wrong light. There is one little white spec in the water on the
right I kept trying to wipe off my monitor.

Hi Dan: I think the water lily is hard to photograph--it's hard to get a good
composition on them from the side of a pond. The choice of flower here is
good, but the pads are a bit distracting.

The composition doesn't grab me. The flowers are too centered, maybe
cropping a bit off of one edge, or if you want it centered a somewhat
tighter crop. The contrast seems to be a bit too high for the subject

like the total of what was happening, so backed off.

This is a shot that I would like to see bigger. I'm suspecting that
it is quite striking when viewed like that. It also seems to be a bit
blown out in the flower - don't know if this is the result of the scan
or as shot. Anyways, I like it with those two caveats.
