Just one other thing occurred to me if you're looking at older lenses
for your K-r.
Be careful of Ricoh (Rikenon) K mount lenses. Some can get stuck on
Pentax bodies. Further info here:

There are at least 3 questions you should ask when thinking about a used lens.
The first question is the one you are asking here: will this lens work on my
camera? And it is a good question! Three are more than a few of us
Well, it certainly helped me, Stan. :-) My confidence level in buying used
lenses has just risen thanks to your advice below. Thanks! Cheers,

I absolutely LOVE the three dimensionality of the flying seagull shot. Buttery
background and total separation of the bird. In sharp focus from wingtip to
wingtip is probably the cause. I guess the human eye is at ƒ7.1 under the same
circumstances.
The rest are good as well, though most are tou

not enough pathos in many of the shots--not enough life from the gut--
I suspect that that sort of personal history would be quite low on the priority

There are still quite a few media representatives over in that area, though I
suspect more interest from the documentary crowd. You'll notice few if any news
broadcast of late that used new images.
But, if you would try to contact CNN, MSNBC, BBC, or the like, they may be able
