The "mighty" Letaba River in the Kruger Park is a mere trickle at the
moment. Normally the Letaba be in flood by now. Not much rain in the
catchment area yet.

Well, during the first snow this year I ventured forth and discovered
the AE-L button wasn't working. Sent it back and they sent me another
one. This one seems to work. Not quite as pretty as the first one,
but half the shutter count. Work's been a whirlwind the last few

It looks like the DFA 70-210 f4.0 is going to be a bit less expensive
than the DA 60-250 and quite a bit less than the DFA* 70-200 f2.8
There is the consideration that the new 70-210 has the new
electronically controlled aperture, which makes it problematic on
earlier Pentax DSLRs.
