If that's the case I might give it a go, when I can find the time.

The third shot is especially nice. Somewhat closer and quite a bit more detail
available.
Love to watch pelicans fly.
Nice panning, Rick!

No one should read anything into this, I just saw this where I had lunch
today, and it amused me. It still amuses me, and I haven't even been
drinking. Maybe I'm just a little punchy. It's been that kind of a
week, or last two weeks. I think I'm going to bed now.
I would like to see what the image looked like if you got right down to
the level of the top of those old pilings. They provide a leading line,
but it doesn't quite lead me out to the sailboat.
Maybe a viewpoint a little more to the left would do so.

I like the foreground rocks snd the way the remains of the pier, or
whatever, lead the eye to the island and the boat.
I had to look REALLY closely to see the red in that boat.

thanks Chris. yes that's a phrase often used here (i assumed it is
used elsewhere too) and i suspect it can be traced to back to a film
camera called agfa click-3, which was often the only camera available
here in the 70s and early 80s.

It is an improved green mode. Green mode only supports jpeg last I
checked. The deep learning is just marketing. They used some deep
learning to come up with some better guesses on what settings to use.
Big whoop. I would say you are far better off without this.

say, "nice clicks". Great quality from your phone. Keep it up!

I'm dubious of vertical landscape photography but that works for me.

I would think Oracle has an installer for Java for MacOS. If Apple
bundles Java then it is probably their own flavor. Personally I would
rather use official java. Microsoft used to have its own java stack
and it was terrible.

I'm not sure this is true, yet.
What is true is that macOS Sierra does not ship with the Java engine in place,
which PS CS5 depends upon. However, there is now a Java download for macOS
Sierra ... with that installed, PSCS5 should work. I might try it when I get
back to my desk.

Hi PJ, I like the subjects you're working with here but think it would be a

Ooh. Yeah I think you are right. I have windows 10 here and do
not have any backwards compatibility issues asides from a few old
windows9x games.

I can't set simple things like exposure comp on my smartphone, so the
comment about you having a good one is valid. :)

Bit of a shame as I always thought it was a pretty cool little system.

Even with a fast card its buffer is pretty limited. Its about as deep
as the buffer on the k-7, so like 13 raws or so. The K-3 has something
like a 28 shot buffer in comparison. Its pretty likely they used the
same amount of memory in both cameras.
