March PUG - Arches - is up
G'day all, Uploaded a little later than I'd hoped - Jostein's surname caused the server to have conniptions... Rob and Stan also make a long overdue appearance this month. Good to see these old faces back! There are arches of all types in this gallery and fine selections all. Enjoy! (Jan's, Ann's and Bill's images made me wish I'd spent more time in the southwest in 2013 - missed almost all of Utah :-) ) View here: http://pug.komkon.org/ (you may need to refresh your browser if you see the previous gallery there). Note: The automated submission process usually works well but it's not infallible. So, if you made a submission and you don't see it in the gallery, let me know. + Next up: 'Night'. Full Submissions Guidelines here: http://pug.komkon.org/general/autosubmit.html You can submit here: http://pug.komkon.org/submit/ Cheers Brian ++ Brian Walters Western Sydney Australia http://lyons-ryan.org/southernlight/ -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.

Re: Peso - at the Hockney exhibit
A very interesting shot! Indeed, it seems there are 2-3 different levels, and the viewers right in front of the painting get sucked into the painting. The woman (?) with just a small portion of her head is the next level of observing all 4 people in front. I am even wondering if that effect would've been stronger if a large portion of her head were shown. As for "the woman with the awful hair", - I thogut her curly hair was sort of matching that of the woman in the painting. But yes, it might've looked better if she and that black-jacket on the right weren't there. A very good and fun photo nevertheless.
