I don't think that's the problem.

The issue is that participation in the PUG has been tending downwards over the
past year or two and the majority of themes haven't been too demanding.  I just
have the strong suspicion that a theme like 'Sonorous interiors' will get little
support.

Happy to include it but I'd need some serious encouragement from the list to do
so.

years in preparation for selling it and moving a hundred or so miles away

PESO: A fungus among us

Here in the Northeast, we had a wet spring, followed by a wet summer, and,
so far, a wet autumn.  There has been standing water in portions of my back
yard much of the time.

This has, of course, induced the growth of a variety of fungi.  For some
reason, the shape and surroundings of this one caught my eye:

butterfly-spotting is not a bad substitute. this one, just about
2-2.5cm long is named common pierrot:

It does not stand out well enough (got too small), but the 'circular' in this 
image
was in the lower right hand, where the mill-operator (milnner ?) is actually
standing IN the large wheel that makes the whole windmill turn arround, 
to direct it into the wind.

He is standing on the spokes to use his body-weight to make 
turning the wheel a bit easier ...
