It's been a long time since I posted a GESO, though I am still shooting as much
as ever. So here is a small gallery of shots from southern Pennsylvania and
western Maryland, taken in late August:

https://www.markcassino.com/b2evolution/index.php/cumberland-md-bedford-pa?blog=9

Almost everything was shot with an Mz-S and Tamron 28-75 f2.8 lens and a
variety of film stocks, mostly outdated. The shots from Old Bedford Village
were made with a Sigma EX 70-200 f2.8 lens.

We were on a genealogical vacation and my wife was hunting for info on her
ancestors who lived in those parts long ago, so the trip was confined to small
towns, back roads, cemeteries and the boondocks...

Re: Why we are not posting

2021-11-07 Thread John Sessoms
If I'm going to take the FA 600/4 I've got a folding hand-truck that
carries the crate, tripod, Gimbal Head & the "camera bag" for other
equipment.

Camera body (K-1) on my hip with a Sun Sniper sling & my walking around
28-70/2.8. Lowe Pro bag (K-3, lenses & accessories) on my back.

Not going to be traipsing around in the woods with it, but I can get
from a parking lot to a suitable "tripod hole" to set it up ... like the
North Carolina Zoo or Sylvan Heights bird park.

https://www.flickr.com/photos/jb_sessoms/48969065903

PS: "camera bag" -
https://www.amazon.com/EarthWise-Piece-Insulated-Grocery-Bag/dp/B07JJHDBRX/ref=sr_1_24?_encoding=UTF8=ts=Kitchen+Reusable+Grocery+Bags=1636326257=p_89%3AEarthwise=2528832011=kitchen=1-24_id=1252210011

Not this particular model, but something similar that I bought from the
supermarket several years ago while grocery shopping. It's kind of a
stealth camera bag.

I have several of them & they also make great luggage for spare clothes
when I'm going to be away from home for a few nights.

I usually have several of them in the car with the "camera" bag down on
the bottom layer so if someone did break in to my car they'd find those
that have jeans & T-shirts & toiletries first and hopefully give up
before digging down to the real goodies.
