Thanks again, Brian, for keeping the PUG a vital part of our little group!

The November PUG is smaller than usual in number of entrants, but it
presents 11 different and interesting interpretations of the "Close to
Home" theme.

My favorite of the month is Paul's "Great Lakes View."  The geometry is
pleasing and effective, and the view through the windows magnetic.  The
silhouetted figures, however, make the image really special.

GESO: November Color

Last wee the temperatures in the East US were in the upper 70s F, with a
few highs in the low 80s.  This week is much different, with overnight lows
just above freezing.

I did a quick walk around our yard, to record the few bits of color that
remain, even into the first week of November.

I had a couple that I was considering, but neither just jumped out and 
obviously declared themselves to be "Close to Home" ...


And the only two in the gallery that really spoke to me about the theme 
are yours & Dan's (tree munching deer) ...

Colorful, indeed.  Enjoyed them all, especially the couple relaxing in 
the third pix.  Sunday family outings in local cemeterys were quite 
common here in the late 1800s, early 1900s, but not so anymore.  It 
would be unusual to see this scene here today.
