I tried this out but in M mode the camera still shifts both the
aperture and shutter speed.

When using the Auto Bracketing function in Manual Exposure Mode on the
K10D it seems to only adjust the exposure by shifting the aperture..
Is there any way to Make it shift the exposure using the shutter speed
instead ?

I haven't had occasion to look for it on the K10D, but the K20D has a
menu choice that switches the camera from f-stop priority to shutter-
speed priority. I suspect you'll find it on the K10D as well.

That's it. I couldn't remember and was going to look at the camera
later. If you set green button to adjust shutter speed in T, Av M,
the camera will also bracket in shutter speeds in any mode where
bracketing is available.
