Interesting. So effectively if you don't have stuck pixels you will
get less noise with NR of.. A bit of a paradox...
Also i've been doing some tests v/v banding... I'm finding that
underexposed shots really exhibit the problem but if you get a good
exposure and preferable expose as far to the

I've been reading that some of you have opted to turn of the NR on your K10Ds.
For those of you who have come to the conclusion that IQ is better
with the NR off what sort of problems was the NR causing ?

The NR definitely remedies
If it reacts as the D (too soon for me to judge) one should disable NR
for long exposure.
For me it is irrelevent 99% of the time since I very rarely use long exposure.
