God to hear you had a good experience Stan.

Ive always felt that they under rated the items Ive purchased
from them and downgraded items Ive sold to them for extremely small
issues.

Subject: Nice ending to my K-3 saga

So, I bought a K-3iii. Tried it. I was impressed, but in too many ways it was
too different from my other Pentax bodies (K-1 and 645Z). I could not readily
switch from one to the other because the layout and functionality and content
of the buttons and menus was just too much for me to adapt to. Compounded by
the addition of a touch-screen to manage many functions. I have sold the K-3iii.

I realized that the features of the K-3iii APS-C that I found useful are also
present in the K-3ii which is functionally a contemporary to the K-1 and 645Z.
So I bought a used K-3ii from KEH.

I have bought many camera bodies and lenses from KEH over the years. My worst
ever experience was buying an LX body from them. It came carefully nestled in
amongst plastic/styrofoam peanuts as packing material. As they
has not bothered to put a body cap on the camera, and as they had not bothered
to put the camera in a plastic bag, those peanuts were also inside the camera
body. That package was quickly retuned to them, they sent a replacement LX. But
still, how careless can you get!

Fast forward to today. I received the K-3. A generous wrapping of bubble wrap
around the interior package. And what a package! The camera body (in its own
plastic bag) along with the charger, charger electrical cord and battery each
in their own plastic bags and then bundled together, all of this inside a
padded zippered case. I am totally amazed!

(And the camera seems to live up to their EX rating.)

Two snappies of the packaging

That's impressive.  Glad you got something more compatible with your
other kit.
