Re: PESO: More fantails

2021-04-14 Thread David Mann
A fantail came inside at my daughter's preschool today and fluttered around the
building for a few minutes before finding its way back out.

According to Maori legend, if a fantail comes indoors it's a harbinger of
death. But she found two four-leaf clovers in the lawn beforehand so maybe
it'll cancel out.

Cheers,
Dave

PESO: More fantails

2021-04-13 Thread David Mann
Yeah, sorry, it's fantails again (I'm very fond of them). We had three of them
in our garden this morning. One of them came to check me out. They're quite
tame as people often disturb the insects they feed on. I had to keep stepping
back because it'd come within the minimum focus distance of my lens (2m, about
6').
