Very nice color and texture. Since the negative space around the leaf
forms a nice balance with it, I would keep it as is.

I am very pleased that the image resonates...
I do think (like Boris and Atilla) that the empty space is part of the image.
It may still work cropped.
However, that will be another image.

I think it's a wonderful, elegant composition Bulent. I see the
yin/yang-ness of it, or the interlocking tessellation of the two
figures: leaf and background.
However, I'd be tempted to trim about 15-20% off the LHS for more symmetry.
I enjoyed your enigmatic words about it too. :-)
