It says something to the effect:

D-LI50 lithium-ion battery power, can take approximately 500 images
(CIPA standards, the use of flash lighting images 50%), and the fuselage
with special batteries and single-use batteries can handle three CR-V3
batteries.

Again - looks more promising at last!

Looks like they should be changeable with Aas or at least CR-V3s -

It's hard to tell the size, but the battery pack looks *very*
similar to the one used in Canon cameras (?511? ?512?).  Now
that would be interesting - being able to share across brands!

Judging by the other images that are in this directory, why does  
anyone assume that those images (1.jpg and 2.jpg) are really the  
battery pack for the Pentax?
