Is it possible that a camera setting is the problem? The default setting for "Action in AF.C Continuous" (C3.17 in the menu system) is "Focus priority". That means the camera will prioritize getting the shot in focus, rather than shooting at the fastest rate. It might seem erratic or slow. You
