Yes, when I saw the focus was on the pillow rather than the cat, the title
watching made sense, as in Quan Yin was watching over Tata.

Thanks, Larry

Re your question about the last photo, taken in my friend's apartment

After I looked up who "Quan Yin" is, it turns out to be the pillow being
in there made a lot of sense (aside from my liking the geometry). my
friend Barbara made that pillow - she is a professional  needlepointer -
and her existence in my life has certainly been comforting.  Also , her
black cat ,Tata has been a comfort to me as well.. we call him my
boyfriend.  and Tata recently lost his buddy when Barb's other cat Momo,
at only ten years old, suddenly died of a heart attack a few months
ago.  Barb and Tata were needing a lot of comfort then.

I shot that photo setting the camera at ISO 400 when Tata jumped up on
the window sill.. a few quick shots with the custom setting on the camera
for outside street stuff have had the camera in my hands after showing
Barb that Union sq shot on the back.

I had to darken highlights in Elements and cropped a bit to get rid of
some outside glare .. Tata was moving a bit.  ISO 400 in low light on
the Coolpix

is pretty grainy. :-(

The first one is excellent.

Is that Quan Yin on the pillow?
