Old Girl

2018-08-05 Thread Morris Galloway
Sometimes a photo goes beyond the K-1, the 50mm lens, and the technique,
and simply captures the look of a girl that looks with love at the
photographer, and that gizmo in his hands. To her, he is her world, and
some of us have been blessed to know that kind of thing throughout our
lives.  Oh, and that really is a nice shot.

Can't find that in my usual UK supplier. What I can find is the Konica
Centuria Super 1600 (in fact all stops from 100-1600). Has anyone
tried it, esp against Superia/Press? I am thinking available light in
a church with a blue filter in front of the FA50/1.7 (and some
outdoors too w/o the filter, if I don't kill the film inside). I have
tried Konica's 400 (possibly Centuria Super, or it could be the bog
standard VX; can't remember off the top of my head) and was very
pleased with the match of colours to those of my flowers.
