Re: Correction the tamron SP LD 180mm is F2.5 (FAST)

2018-07-10 Thread J.C. O'Connell
Ive heard good things about the D FA 80-200/2.8. Im not really into AF I
have two excellent MF
80-200/2.8 lenses, a tamron SP and a Tokina AT-X, They are both optically
and mechanically great but
they are bulky so I rarely use them, prefering the A70-210/4 most of the
time if Im going to use a zoom. The nice thihg about thing about the
tamron 180/2.5 is its fast and compact (but not that light).

So would I, just cant scrape up $2K for a K-1 yet.
My budget is more like a mint used K-5 IIs.

this lens would make interestinig full frame portraits on a K-1
wide open as it has nice bokeh. But they would have to be
outdoors in the shade as the working distance with a 180mm
would be pretty long.

Its the clearest

F8 6Mp Jpeg reduced for web.

p.s. this lens is sharp, I really cant wait to try it on a much
higher resolution body.
