Good question, Mark. Beetle's life size is 3-4 mm and image chip is 44 mm. The posted pic is uncropped. Eyeballing it, I'd say the beetle's image reach across about two thirds of the frame, like 30 mm or thereabouts. So a magnification between 8 and 10x somewhere? Jostein Den 19. mars 2017
