You need to use a reasonable timeout, not 60 seconds which might
work for a web app. Try the default 43200 (12h) or 86400 (24h)
or more instead.

i've found the following message frequently in the pdns logfiles:
TCP nameserver had error, cycling backend: Reading data: Connection
reset by peer
TCP server is without backend connections, launching
Can anybody explain what this message exactly mean? The ps output shows
