Hello community,
I already searched the documentation but couldn't find an answer to my
questions.
Is it possible to add LUA SRV record which will return different weight
based on query source IP address?
Are LUA SRV records supported at all?
I have tried one and it logs strange error:
'X-API-Key: secret_string '
http://127.0.0.1:8081/api/v1/servers/localhost/statistics/servfail-packets
< this return 404 not

Hi,
I am going to host DNS for 2000+ domains on one PowerDNS master server and
3 slaves. They all will run mysql server as backend. Can you please tell me
how many server resources(CPU, RAM) would be good for such a setup and what
if any suggestions there are for optimizing the setup?
Thanks in
Hi,
I've set up the geo backend as described in the docs and seems to be
working fine.
Is it possible to use the maxmind geoip city database with the geo backend?
If not, are there any other IP city/region databases that I can use with
the powerdns geo backend?
Please advise
Hello pdns-users,
I have a question about the query cache, does the query cache take in
account the the requesting resolvers IP in the cache ?
So that it caches the result for that particular resolver ?
Meaning more of the same request will return the cached value ?
Ryan
if it will get the cache
entry or if it goes back down to pipe back-end to resolve the request ?
George

I changed local-address and included all the IPs with a , between them
and it worked.
I thought 0.0.0.0 is supposed to make it work on all IPs.
