Those who have been following the NP seminar (although it fell behind
schedule in recent months) have probably noticed that we skipped Chapter
10 of the book. As the main organizer of the seminar schedule, I have to
take responsibility for that; I got distracted from

Yes, of course, Helmut, I was speaking of a general tendency — one of many
forms of reductionism that act inexorably, almost like a gravitational force,
on the human mind — I was not thinking of anyone in particular.
