In the August issue of In These Times, David Moberg says that Ed Wolff
calculated that the net worth of the bottom 40% of the population fell
by 76.3%.  Is that true?  If so, I assume that it reflects the increase
in debt.  If that is true, then it would seem that a fairly small
decline in economy could set off a wave of bankruptcies.
