All--

I am still fumbling with the test scripts to get them working without an NFS
env, but I also realized that the tinderbox package from mozilla.org might
be useful for perl.

Tinderbox has two parts: client and server. The client pulls source code
from the repository, compiles, and tests it. It then determines if it passed
or failed and sends a special coded email to the server with it's log
output. The server reads these emails and displays something like
http://tinderbox.mozilla.org/SeaMonkey/. As you can see, several tinderboxen
(clients) can run on different types of boxes (including windows).

I have some experience writing tinderbox clients, and while the server is
somewhat hard to get running, I can assist with this though contacts at
mozilla.org. Also, tinderbox2, a complete rewrite of tinderbox is more
secure and somewhat easier to get setup.

Preparing for the traditional idea bashing,

Zach
