Hi,
I am trying to install ActivePerl 5.6.1
on Solaris ..
but i am getting checksum error...in half way
during tar -xvf Active*.tar.gz
Step i have taken..
1. Downloaded from activestate.com perl 5.6.1
Build 628
2. Ftp to unix in binary ..
3. gunzip *.gz
4. tar -xvf *.tar
it's giving error in half way....file name
after which i got error..dl_expandspce.al..
tar : directory checksum error
I don't how to resolve this
problem
any help will be appericated..
