The isapi module that comes with ActivePerl will not work with Apache. You
will need to install mod_perl. Even still though, I would recommend that
you do not connect perl directly to apache unless you feel like rewriting
the configuration files. I know that the whole server will get messed up
Back with the nimda virus, the attachment was a .exe but the MIME type was
set to audio/wave. This causes WMP or other media player to automatically
open the file effectively auto-executing the program.

I noticed that PPM3 choked when I tried to add a repository that had a
question mark in it. It loaded other urls fine but crashed at function
new when I added one with the same formatting as the other 2 repositories
that come listed. PPM3 does not list modules installed by PPM.

I don't know of any perl coding relating for this
or if a patch for OE is available yet. I do know that you must have
anti-virus software though or it will make it through. I learned that when
Nimda hit our classroom subnet. Everyone had the system patched with all
the patches
