Using the --info data from Perl

Is there any way that I can access the fields set by the perlapp -info parameter? I am thinking of setting the product version via this method, and wonder if I can then access that field from within the Perl program I am compiling. Is it possible? Many thanks Geoff 21 Gloucester Road, E
