I would like to do the Mail merge like concept in perl
I have the data file which looks like

list of files
pons ponma
I don't have much experience (in fact, nearly none!) with CGI scripts;
you should however remember that, on NT class machines, there are 2
(TWO) sets of environment variables: SYSTEM and USER. So, what may be
the diference is that somehow the two local profiles for the account you
run the CGI

Sorry - ripped that out of a snippet that had it's own print
routine that
logs the lines that are printed to STDOUT/ERR. Try it like this:

Sorry, I've missed this discussion thread, but I think the module IO::Tee,
available from CPAN might be what you are looking for.

I haven't posted here in a while, but I can think of no better place to
ask this question (posted on perl-beginners[PBML] with no bites).
Does anyone know a simple or relatively straightforward way to determine
phone number and connection speed for an active dial-up connection? I've
peeked at
