The closest to Perl 5 Data::Dumper is Perl6 Data::Dump.
Note also .perl will hang on many data structures.
I find using YML dump also useful.

without a home-grown filter of some kind. Providing some way to
duplicate the output of Data::Dumper would be handy for someone
converting Perl 5 to Perl 6.
Maybe we need a Perl 6 version of Data::Dumper.
