I'm afraid I'm interpreting it correctly: Lloyds-iMac:~ llfourn$ perl6 -e 'say (await start { qx/echo foo/ }).perl' slip() Looks like we've got a mac bug: Lloyds-iMac:~ llfourn$ perl6 -v This is Rakudo version 2015.12 built on MoarVM version 2015.12 implementing Perl 6.c.
