As a . doubter form the earlier threads, I'd just like to say that Apoc. 2 has gone a long way towards making me feel better about . as the method call thingie...both by explaining all the neat things . does in Perl 6, and by avoiding the potentially distressing introduction of the replacement string concatenation operator ;) -John
