Since I was the release manager for Parrot 1.7.0, I would *love* to
know if this is a Parrot issue,
a Rakudo issue, a proto issue, or some dragon-like mixture of the
three. Can you show the error output of what happens when you attempt
to install http::deamon, as well as the relevant versions of each
program involved? Thanks!

Installing http::Daemon on win32

2009-11-01 Thread Steve Pitchford
Hi,

I've got parrot 1.7 and the October release of rakudo. After a bit of
fettling, mostly down to my lack of concentration, I got "perl6" up and
running, and was able to get a tad of code running.

I came into problems when trying to get http::deamon installed. It doesn't
seem at all happy installing on my system with mingw32-make. I was wondering
if there was something blindingly obvious that I was doing wrong - would
proto make a difference?
