How hard is it to contact the copyright holder to release their data and/or put it under GPL?
I believe that I have seen this dictionary data set in 5 different dictionaries (and all claimed that are based on Mr. ArianPour's). Not that copying copyrighted material without permission becomes legal after 5 (or whatever) times, but it'd be nice to add this to a set of GPL software usable by an average 'Akbar agha, Persian Linux user'.

Actually unless you resolve the first problem, you are stealing copyrighted data. After that, you can think about the second problem.
Very sad that GPL has become a luxury for some people.
