That's excellent. I've installed a Blog (http://poeml.markupware.com) for POEML on
which I've uploaded diagrams related to the structural tree, etc. So that
non-architects would be able to contribute as well. However, at this level of
develpement, we need Persian poetry pioneers rather than hackers.

 Dear Sina,

My father writes poetry and is published and as a deep understanding of Persian
poetry. Unfortunately, he doesn't know anything about computer programming. He's
willing to help if you need his help. Please let me know and I'll have him contact

I'm currently involved in designing a new standard to markup Persian poems. XML
Schema is used to define the markup vocabulary. The XML instance of the schema is
written in Persian, including element and attribute names, etc.

I've also hacked two style sheet layers (XSLT and CSS) as well. However the
presentation model is beyond the scope of this post and demands a completely
separate discussion as well as different contributors.

I ask anyone, who's familiar with the structure of Persian poems, and (meta)data
associated with them, to participate in our new and open standard on the Web. I
found this mailing list a reliable and convenient place for our further discussions
 to take place.

Dear all,
Please choose a subject related to your email. This will help a lot.
When you raise a new issue inside a thread, you'd better choose a new
thread, instead of continuing the old one. Consider this example:
In thread Re: Persian-English Dictionary -- Was: Iranian Mac User
group, which was a multiple thread already, one raises the issue of
cursor problem in bidi texts and it goes on under the same thread! This
new subject is indeed an interesting, but different one. Please let us
avoid multiple subject threads as much as possible. This helps others
who search on the web, too.

Dear Said,

Please be aware that Microsoft has not made
Pashto language tailored

you to send me the

can fix this in a
future release of Windows.

Paul, please see the files at http://www.evertype.com/standards/af/

where the correct sorting specification is given.
