Why would I get output from ftpsesame like the following but not have
anything in the anchor
ftpsesame ruleset?
Apr 13 14:54:59 igg ftpsesame[2458]: #42 allowing 128.252.142.52 to
172.16.8.97 port 1930

Quick question for those using ftpsesame on 3.4 that is up to date with
the stable source:
1. I was able to make the source but not make install the source.
I get:
install -c -s -o root -g bin -m 555 ftpsesame
usage: install [-bCcpSs] [-B suffix] [-f flags] [-g group] [-m
mo
than ftp-proxy.
Is there a solution to this?

Hello,
I am having trouble with ftp-proxy and the root of the problem seems
to be the nat rule:
rdr on vlan* inet proto tcp from any to any port 21 -> \
127.0.0.1 port 8081
None of the traffic that comes into the bridge on a vlan gets
redirected to the localhost. I am looking through th
Good catch that was exactly it.
Thank you,

“modulate state” the rule
will die too.
I am testing with telnet 128.252.21.6 135
and I am using OpenBSD 3.3 stable.
Thanks again,

Subject: tcpdum
Hello all,
I am having a problem with filtering on a vlan aware bridge.
I am wondering if anyone has seen a tcpdump
that looks like the following and what it means. Particularly the part about the rule
-1/0(match).
Sep 11 17:35:33.988497 rule -1/0(match): pass in on vlan16:
64.236

I have learned a big lesson today. My setup works fine after you ditch the Intel
Ethernet cards for Syskonnects.
Anyone out there trying to do this should save themselves a
lot of time and get the Syskonnect cards. The if_fxp
driver
is good for nothing
when it comes to vlanning.
That is a typing mistake. It should have been vlan0, vlan1, vlan2

What's about "add vlan2"? I see only 0, 1, 1, 3.. is that right?

I have a question dealing with vlans
and bridges on an OpenBSD-stable box.
First, what I am trying to do is below in ascii art as much as I hate ascii art.
