Ive just been thinking of a possible solution to my problem on previous thread. How about I create vlan's and bridge them together. So that it forms something like:
----<fxp0>--<altq>--<virtual interface>--<altq>--<dc?>--<host>
The vlan interfaces won't work, because they require 802.1q tags to actually see any traffic.
You might be able to cook something up with lo1 and binat.
