AT&T U-verse High Speed Internet is now AT&T Internet [and the bear awakens]
AT&T is now sending around the following notice: Dear AT&T Broadband Customer: To make it simpler for our customers, AT&T U-verse High Speed Internet service has a new name: AT&T Internet. There is no change to your speed or price and you will see the new name on future bills, correspondence, and online. For more information please visit smb.att.com or call 800.321.2000. Thank you for choosing AT&T. Sincerely, AT&T Business Services - - - Coincidentally, AT&T is up to something right now a few feet from me. They have a cable truck going up and down the street attaching a new cable to the front pole set (also carries Time Warner Cable trunk, and high voltage Edison feed lines). Attachments in this precise area are at the rear of houses, underground to a buried ~50-year-old AT&T copper cable, overhead drops for DWP power and TWC. So this new AT&T line is almost certainly a fiber trunk. Like a hibernating bear awoken, once AT&T starts moving around you have to keep your eyes open and your wits about you. --Lauren-- Care About Science and Tech? It's just plain wrong! _______________________________________________ pfir mailing list https://lists.pfir.org/mailman/listinfo/pfir
