Ok, I was too quick : the problem appears not during the connection but when I open a database (or perhaps also when I refresh one ?). This problem does not appear when I'm using a 8.1 database locally (on a Windows 2000 machine) or not (on a "remote" Win Xp machine).   As sometimes the conne

Recently, I upgraded my OS from RH8 to Fedora. This implicitly upgraded my database to PG7.4.6 from PG7.2.X. Due to this I am unable to use the existing database, since starting postmaster with the same Data gives an initializing data dictionary error (Incompatible between versions). What options
