Hi,
I'm running Version 1.8.4, r7358 on Ubuntu 8.10.
When I hit the 'SQL Query' button, the window shows 'File', 'Edit', 'Query'
etc., but the internal pane is blank.
I've tried reinstalling and checked pgadmin.log but found nothing.

Great! Both problems fixed now that I removed the preference file.
FWIW here is a before and after of the relevant section... I haven't been
able to narrow down the problem any more
