I am experimenting the same problem: after installation of PostGre 9.3 x64
(on Win 8), pgAdmin hints are always blank.
What is the solution? To install a x86 version? :-(

Hi Frederic,
We fixed the issue for 64-bit installers.
You need to install 32 bit ( x86 version ) installers of PG 9.2 or PG 9.3
to solve this problem.
