[pgadmin-support] alter column type unavailable

In pgAdmin 1.4.0, after creating a column with type char, we're unable to change the type to varchar, as the type field is greyed-out. However, it is possible to change varchar to char or text. Is there any way around this? Thank you. ____ David Fisher Pres. F
