I am using pg 7.3.4 on linuz red hat 7.3 and reiserFS.
After ~30 days error free work my pg stops.
I my log I found:
PANIC: open of /mnt/diske/skladdb/pg_clog/0D02 failed: No such file or

A quick note, anytime you're gonna upgrade, you need to first shut down
the postmaster...

Assuming you'll be upgrading from 7.2 to 7.2.4, then yes, all you need to
do is upgrage the rpms. you can do tham all at once, assuming they're in
the same directory and named postgresql-something or other:
rpm -Uvh postgresql*
should do it.
If you want to upgrade to 7.3.4, then you'll need t

No. You can safely interrupt it, but you won't have accomplished
anything if you do.

: Installing from su systran :

We have a pretty large table with many deleted rows. A normal VACUUM of
this table now takes over an hour. I'd like to run a full VACUUM to
recover the mostly wasted space, but I know it will take several hours.
